Lucy Marriott Communications

Privacy notice

Short and plain: what we collect when you get in touch, what we do with it, and how long we keep it.

Who is responsible

Lucy Marriott Communications is the data controller for the information described in this notice. For any question about your personal information, or to exercise any of the rights set out below, write to lucy@lucymarriott.com.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry — through the enquiry form on this website or by email — you give us your name, your email address, and whatever you tell us about yourself, your business and the work you have in mind. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking, and this website does not run analytics, so we collect nothing about you while you browse.

Why we use it

Your information is used for one purpose: to reply to you, and — if we go on to work together — to carry out that work and keep in touch about it. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not use your details for anything you have not asked for.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to working together are deleted six months after we last hear from you. Where a project goes ahead, we keep the records that relate to it for as long as we need them for our own accounts and professional records, and then delete them.

Who else sees it

Your information is not sold, rented or shared with anyone for marketing. It is read by Lucy, and by any service provider strictly needed to deliver the work you have asked for.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or ask us to stop using it. Write to lucy@lucymarriott.com and we will deal with your request. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
